Ingredients of Dry fruits stuffed Dahi Gujia
- Prepare 1 cup of urad dal / black gram.
- Take 1/2 cup of crumbled paneer.
- Make ready 1/2 cup of chopped dry fruits.
- Prepare 1/4 cup of chocolate raisins.
- Prepare 2 tbs of sweet chutney.
- Make ready 2 tbs of green coriander chutney.
- Make ready 2 tbs of boondi.
- You need 2 tbs of chopped coriander leaves.
- You need as per taste of Salt.
- It’s Pinch of black salt.
- Prepare Pinch of red chilli powder.
- It’s 1/4 tsp of roasted cumin powder.
- Prepare 1 cup of thick curd.
- Take 1 tbs of sugar.
- Make ready as needed of Oil for deep fry.
- You need a pinch of hing / asafoetida.
Dry fruits stuffed Dahi Gujia instructions
- Wash and soak urad dal for 4 hours in enough water..
- For stuffing i have taken crumbled paneer,chopped almonds,chopped walnuts,some chocolate raisins and some coriander leaves,mix well.
- After that drain the water and wash it again,put it in mixer jar in few batches and make a smooth paste,if needed add 1 or 2 tsp water..
- Take it out in a bowl add salt and beat it with your hand for 5 to 7 mins,so that gujiya will become soft and fluffy..
- Heat a pan with oil and take a plastic cover upon that keep 1 tbs of batter..in between keep 1 tbs of dry fruits stuffing and turn the cover gently so that it will take gujia shape…
- Now slowly leave in to medium hot oil to deep fry them untill becomes nice and golden brown in colour…
- Take them out in a paper towel…
- Now leave them into lukewarm salted water for 10 to 15 mins untill they become extra soft..after that squeeze the water and keep them aside..
- For sweetened dahi i have added 1 tbs sugar and little bit salt..mixed well…
- Now for serving take a plate upon that place your prepared gujia and then sweeteend thick curd then sweet chutney, green chutney,black salt,red chilli powder,cumin powder,some boondi,chopped coriander leaves..and enjoy…
