- Take 2 of Large Red Onions.
- Make ready 2 of Large Potatoes.
- Take 1 sprig of Fresh Thyne.
- Make ready 2 of Large Carrots.
- Make ready 2 of Plum Tomatoes.
- Take of Mushroom Sauce.
- Make ready 250 g of Double Cream.
- Make ready 1-2 of Lemon(Zest&Juice).
- You need of Red Onions.
- Take 2 of Jumbo Mushrooms.
- You need 30 g of Grated Cheese.
- You need of Seasoning (Salt&Pepper).
Minced Beef Parcel With Crispy Paprika +Thyme Potatoes and Mushroom-Red Onions Creamy Sauce step by step
- Prep all the ingredients. Marinate the meat and mix diced potatoes+smoked Paprika+Thyme. Leave to stand room temp for 10 minutes..
- Heat up a fry pan with little Oil at medium heat for 3-5mins and simmer the Vegs till soften a little bit. Then add the meat and cook till lightly browned. Meanwhile fry the potatoes in a hot pan till soften and crispy then place in pre heated oven @ 180’C (same time as the parcels).
- Make the parcels as shown below. (Cheese is optional). Beat an egg and use for egg wash. Place on the middle rack in the oven(preheated @180’C). Cooked for 10-15mins or till it’s golden brown..
- Mushroom Sauce :fry reserved mushrooms and red onions for 5mins in a teaspoon of oil. Add lemon zest and juice and simmer for 3mins. Then add the cream and simmer till reduce a little and the add grated cheese and let it simmer till desired consistency is achieved.
