  4. Pressure cook it for 4 whistles..
  5. In a kadai heat 4 table spoon ghee..
  6. Add jeera, coarsly powdered pepper, cashew nuts, Curry leaves. Fry them..
  7. Add fried things to ven pongal..
  8. Serve with coconut chutney, moong dhal sambar..
