- Take 2 cup of left rice.
- You need 1/2 cup of sooji.
- Prepare 1/2 of capsicum chopped.
- Prepare 1 of onion chopped.
- Take 1/2 cup of water.
- You need 1/2 tsp of chilli flakes.
- It’s 1/4 tsp of black pepper powder.
- Take 1/2 tsp of mustard seeds.
- It’s 8-10 of curry leaves chopped.
- You need 1 tsp of oil.
- It’s 1/4 tsp of baking soda.
- It’s as needed of green coriander chopped.
- It’s 2 of green chilli cut into half.
Leftover Rice Appe instructions
- In a blender add leftover rice add water as required to make a smooth paste..
- Pour batter in a bowl add suji, salt, mix it well, add water if required. Cover it and keep aside for 15 minutes..
- Add onion, capsicum, chilli flakes, green coriander,black pepper powder, salt and mix well.
- Heat oil in a pan add mustard seed, green chilli, curry leaves,saute a little, switch off the gas..
- Pour this in rice batter, mix well, add baking soda and very little water and mix well..
- Preheat appe pan, grease it with oil, pour batter in each cavity..
- Cover it and cook for 2 to 3 minutes..
- After that sprinkle little oil on top of each cavity.. Flip the apps, cover again and cook for 1 to 2 minutes..
- Place it on plate.Serve hot with green chutney, tomato sauce..
