Ingredients of Sophies Pot Pies
- Prepare 1 cup of Celery.
- It’s 1 cup of Onion.
- Make ready 1 cup of Carrot Grated.
- You need 1 cup of Potato's.
- Take 1 cup of Cauliflower.
- You need 1 cup of Peas.
- Prepare 1/4 cup of Margerine.
- Make ready 1/2 cup of Flour.
- Take 2 cup of Bouillon Chicken.
- Prepare 1 cup of Cooking Cream.
- Take 1 box of Crisco Lard.
- Make ready 1 lb of Cooked chicken breast.
Sophies Pot Pies instructions
- Preheat Oven to 400°F.
- Start by adding butter to large pan to saute onions, celery,carrots.
- Add potatoes, peas, cauliflower and cook for around 10 mins till soft.
- Add flour and stirr to thinken about 2 mins.
- Put cooking cream and bouillon together and slowly add to veg mixture.
- Let simmer till thick. If it's not getting thick enough just add a bit of flour.
- Add chicken and put aside.
- Make Pie shells, directions are on the Crisco box.
- Add mixture to pies and put in oven for 40mins.
