Ingredients of Mango Burfi

  1. You need 1 litre of Milk.
  2. Make ready 1/2 tsp of lemon juice.
  3. You need 1 cup of mango pulp (Alphonse).
  4. Prepare 1/4 cup of sugar.
  5. Prepare pinch of Kesar(safforn) strings.
  6. It’s 1/2 tsp of cardamom powder.
  7. Take 1 tsp of ghee.
  8. You need as needed of Pistachio and almond flakes.

Mango Burfi step by step

  1. Heat milk in a heavy bottom pan bring one boil Add lemon juice to it stir.
  2. Once it starts curdling a little bit add mango pulp (Alphonse) mix well and stir continuously till it gets thick. Now add sugar or as per sweetness required.
  3. Add few kesar strand + cardamom powder + ghee mix well.
  4. Note **- the mixture should leave the side of the pan & it looks like burfi mixture.
  5. Slightly grease the mould and evenly spread the mixture in it Garnish with pistachio and almonds flakes..
  6. Set it aside for 3 hours Cut into cubes.
