Ingredients of Taco Rice

  1. Take 500 g of Beef Mince OR Beef & Pork Mince.
  2. Prepare 1 tablespoon of Canola Oil.
  3. Prepare 1 of Onion.
  4. You need 1 clove of Garlic *finely chopped.
  5. It’s 2 tablespoons of Tomato Paste.
  6. You need 4 of servings Freshly Cooked Rice.
  7. You need 2-3 of Lettuce Leaves *sliced.
  8. Make ready 2 of Tomatoes *cut into small pieces.
  9. Prepare 1 of Avocado *cut into small pieces.
  10. You need of Shredded Cheddar Cheese.
  11. Make ready of Taco Salsa.
  12. Make ready of <Spice Mix>.
  13. Make ready 2 teaspoons of Ground Cumin.
  14. It’s 2 teaspoons of Ground Coriander.
  15. Prepare 1 teaspoon of Garlic Powder.
  16. Prepare 1 teaspoon of Paprika.
  17. Take 1/8 teaspoon of Cayenne Pepper *OR more.
  18. It’s 1 teaspoon of Salt.

I also boiled the ground beef.I made it because it was a recipe that my sister-in-law wanted to make when we were cooking together.My family liked it and so did I.I will definitely make this again.

Taco Rice step by step

  1. Heat Oil in a large frying pan over medium-high heat, cook Onion and Garlic for a few minutes, add Beef Mince and cook until Beef changes colour..
  2. Add the spices mix and Tomato Paste, and stir-fry for a few minutes..
  3. Place Freshly Cooked Rice on a plate, cover with the Beef mixture, then place Lettuce, Tomato, Avocado and shredded Cheese on top. Drizzle with Taco Salsa (I forgot to do that for the above photo!) and enjoy..
