  1. Prepare 1 1/2 cup of cooked rice.
  2. You need 1/2 cup of soaked chana daal.
  3. Prepare 1/2 cup of thick grated raw mango (kesar go best).
  4. You need 2 tbsp of oil.
  5. It’s 1/2 tsp of mustard seeds.
  6. You need 1/4 tsp of cumin seeds.
  7. Prepare 1/4 tsp of hing (asfoitida).
  8. Take 1/2 tsp of Turmeric powder.
  9. It’s 2 of green chillies split (very hot chilli).
  10. It’s 7-8 pc of curry leaves.
  11. It’s to taste of Salt.

Raw mango rice instructions

  1. Grate raw mango, add pinch of salt and keep aside..
  2. Heat oil in a pan, add mustard seeds, wait till crackle, add cumin seeds and hing. Wait for a sec. Now add curry leaves and chilli. Saute for a while..
  3. Now add soaked chana daal and cook for 2 mins. (Do not add water) now add grated raw mango and turmeric powder and cook for a min..
  4. Last add cooked rice and mix well. Cook for a min with lid covered..
  5. Serve hot with sweet curd or Sambhar or fresh fruit juice..
