Ingredients of Egg Parata
- Prepare 1 of Onion : chopped fine.
- Make ready 5 of Eggs : whisked together.
- Prepare 1/4 inch of Ginger : minced fine.
- You need 2 of Garlic : minced fine.
- You need 2 of Green chillies , : chopped.
- Take pinch of Turmeric Powder: a.
- Prepare 1/2 tsp of Coriander Powder:.
- You need 1/4 - 1/2 tsp of Chilli Powder:.
- Prepare of Salt.
- It’s of Pepper.
- You need of Curry leaves.
- It’s of Oil.
- You need 4 of Paratas: Frozen or home made -.
Egg Parata step by step
- To some heated oil, add the curry leaves and onions, and saute until the onions have softened.
- Next add the ginger, garlic and green chillies and let it cook.
- Add the three masala powders, and allow it to cook until the masala smell is gone.
- Pour the whisked eggs and cook it like you would cook scramble eggs.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Cook the paratas as the eggs cook and though it may be hot roughly chop or rip the paratas and toss it with the egg mixture and mix it all up.
- Garnish with some coriander leaves, and serve it hot with some raita or even tomato sauce.
