Ingredients of Orange Cup Cakes
- Prepare 360 grams of All Purpose flour.
- It’s 7 grams of Baking Powder.
- You need of Salt 1/8 teaspoon (a pinch).
- Prepare of Sugar 190 grams(you may reduce).
- Make ready of Margarine 100 grams or unsalted butter.
- Prepare 80 ml of Vegetable oil.
- Take 4 pcs of Eggs.
- Prepare 200 ml of Milk.
- It’s of Orange oil 1 teaspoon (Pradip).
- You need 2 tablespoon of Or orange juice.
- It’s 1/2 teaspoon of grated skin of orange.
Orange Cup Cakes instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F or 180 degrees c.
- Grease and flour an 8 inch baking tin or line your cupcakes tray with cupcakes partchment paper.
- In a bowl,sift the flour,baking powder if using salted margarine don't add the salt..
- In a bowl measure sugar grated orange rind, margarine (butter),set aside.
- If using the orange rind don't use the orange oil..
- Beat the eggs in a separate bowl,add the orange oil and mix through..
- Measure your milk.
- Using an electric beater,whisk or mwiko,cream the margarine,oil,sugar(if using the grated rind mix it through in the sugar) Cream until light and fluffy.
- Add your eggs(if using oil mix it in the eggs) and mix for a minute or two..
- Fold in your dry ingredients into the creamed mixture,in 3 additions alternating with the milk.Mix well with no lumps on it.
- Pour the batter into the prepared tin,or into the cupcakes tray.
- Depending with your oven,for the cake bake for 45-60 minutes.For cup cakes 25 - 30 minutes.
- Insert a skewer or clean knife to check the doneness of the cake.
- Cool the cakes or cupcakes for 15 minutes.Frost as desired..
