Ingredients of Shami Burger

  3. Make ready 1/2 cup of chana dal(washed and soaked).
  4. Make ready 1/2 tsp of haldi powder.
  5. Prepare 1 tsp of zeera.
  6. You need 1 tsp of garam masala powder.
  7. Take 2 tsp of ginger garlic powder.
  8. Make ready 1 of potato.
  9. It’s as required of Chopped green chillies + chopped mint+ chopped coriander.
  10. Make ready 1 of egg for mixing.
  11. You need as per taste of Salt.
  12. Prepare as per need of Beaten egg for coating.
  13. You need as required of Bread crumbs.
  14. You need as needed of Butter to toast buns.
  15. Take As needed of Burger buns.
  16. It’s As required of cheese slice.
  17. Take as required of Sauteed veggies of your choice( Here I have used onions and cabbage.
  18. You need As required of White sauce.
  19. Make ready as needed of Mayonnaise.

Shami Burger step by step

  1. Mix together soaked chana dal, chicken pieces, haldi powder, zeera,garam masala, ginger garlic paste, peeled potato and salt and pressure cook it till chicken pieces tenderise or upto 4 whistles..
  2. When it gets cooked. Mash the chana dal and potato with masher while shred chicken in chopper. Break 1 egg and add coriander, mint,green chillies and bind it together..
  3. Now make bigger size pattice. Dip it into beaten egg and rolled it over bread crumbs and fry the shami cutlets from both the sides till it becomes crispy..
  4. For white sauce(heat 1 tbsp butter. Add 1 tsp maida. Slowly add required milk to make flowing consistency batter. Now add slice cheese depend upon your preference). Let this mixture gets cooled and thicken. Now add mayonnaise and mix properly..
  5. Cut the burger bun. Spread butter and toast it on tawa..
  6. Now spread white sauce+mayonese. Put sauteed veggies, shami cutlet and slice cheese and your burger is ready to go with french fries..
