Ingredients of Prawns Pakoras

  1. Prepare 450 gm of Prawns/Shrimps (peeled deveined and cleaned).
  2. Prepare 1 Cup of Onion (finely Chopped).
  3. Prepare 2 tsp of Ginger Garlic and Green Chilli Paste.
  4. You need 1/2 tsp of Red Chilli Powder.
  5. You need 4 tsp of Lime Juice.
  6. Take As needed of Bread crumbs.
  7. You need 2 of Eggs.
  8. Take 1-2 of Chopped Green Chillies (optional).
  9. Take 1/4 Cup of Freshly Chopped Coriander Leaves.
  10. It’s As needed of Cooking Oil (For Deep Frying).
  11. Make ready To Taste of Salt.
  12. Make ready 1 pinch of Sugar.
  13. Make ready 1/2 Cup of Water (for steaming the prawns ).

It is an easy to do recipe and a perfect snack if you have an unexpected guests at home.Grinded prawns mixed with gramflour and garlic paste and then deep fried.Grind the prawns, onion, chillies, ginger and garlic in a food processor.Add a little water if needed.

Prawns Pakoras instructions

  1. Firstly, take a pan with cover & with the measured water parboil the prawns- post seasoning it with some salt, until it’s tender enough & drain it out from the pan with the help of a strainer (if still some remaining water is there & not completely evaporated.
  2. In a pan- Heat some cooking oil & add in the sliced onions, 3G paste, salt & sugar, dry spices, coriander leaves and sauté well until everything’s nicely combined and gets finely cooked, allow it to cool slightly & blend it slightly coarse, in a blender jar.
  3. Now, in 2 separate wide bowls break the eggs & whisk it well with a pinch of salt and in another spread the bread crumbs & you’ve to be careful to use these two ingredients separately individually with your left & right hands, so as not to mix with each other to retain it's crispness.
  4. Now, in a frying pan heat sufficient cooking oil for the deep frying of these pakoras…shape them into round & flat, then with your left hand dip it into the egg batter & with the right hand dust it into the breadcrumbs- repeat this very process twice for the added & extra crispness & deep fry them.
  5. Our Prawn Pakoras are ready to dive into the serving plates..
