- Prepare 1 cup of basmati rice.
- You need 1 1/2 cup of water.

- You need 25 gr of chopped onions.
- Take 5 gr of grated ginger.
- Make ready 1 pcs of bay leaf.
- Take 1 pcs of cinnamon stick small piece.
- Take 1 pcs of green cardamom.
- It’s 1/2 tsp of cumin seeds.
- Take 1 tsp of turmeric powder.
- Make ready 1/2 tsp of coriander powder.
- It’s 1/2 tsp of garam masala powder (optional).
- You need 1/2 tsp of chili powder (optional).
- Prepare 1/4 tsp of pepper powder.
- It’s 1-2 tsp of salt.
- You need 3-4 pcs of cabbage leaves – small sliced.
- You need 1 pcs of eggplant – sliced and steamed/half cooked.
- You need 3 tbsp of oil.
- Take 1 tbsp of peanuts/cashew nuts - garnish.
