Ingredients of Bread machine Focaccia

  1. Take of Topping:.
  2. It’s 1 tbsp of olive oil.
  3. Prepare of Topping of your choice, see step 7.
  4. Take of For loaf:.
  5. Prepare 1 1/4 cup of water.
  6. Take 1 tbsp of olive oil.
  7. Take 3 cup of strong /bread flour.
  8. It’s 1/2 tsp of salt.
  9. Prepare 1 tsp of granulated sugar.
  10. You need 1 tsp of easy blend /quick yeast.

I make the dough for this bread in my bread machine…really one of the best inventions ever.Using the bread machine means you don't need to bother with kneading!Add water, oil, salt, rosemary, flour and yeast to bread machine pan in the order suggested by manufacturer.My family loves this bread & it is so easy to make.

Bread machine Focaccia instructions

  1. Pour water and 1 tablespoon olive oil into bread pan.
  2. Sprinkle over fĺour, covering the liquid, in separate corners, place the sugar, salt & yeast. Set machine to dough or basic and press start. If your machine places flour in first, reverse order of wet and dry ingredients..
  3. Lightly oil a 12 inch pizza pan or baking sheet, when dough cycle has finished remove dough and place on a floured surface. Dough should be quite soft..
  4. Knock back the dough. Add drops of water if too dry or sprinkle with flour if too wet..Form into a ball..
  5. Roll or knead out to fit pan, place in pan & cover with oiled clear/ cling film, put in a warm place for 20 minutes & allow to rise..
  6. Preheat oven to 200C/ 400°F, uncover risen loaf and make dimples all over with your finger tips, re-cover & leave in warm place for 10-15 minutes until doubled in size…
  7. Remove film and sprinkle wth topping of your choice, e.g sliced onion, sea salt, sesame seeds, or sun dried tomatoes, a good choice is New York steak spice, drizzle with olive oil… Experiment and have fun !.
  8. Bake for 20-25 minutes, until golden brown & loaf sounds hollow when tapped on bottom. Remove from pan & place on wire rack to cool slightly. Best served warm..
  9. Enjoy.
