  1. Take 5-6 of rohu fish pieces.
  2. Prepare 2 tbsp of mustard paste.
  3. It’s 2 tbsp of curd.
  4. It’s 1 tbsp of tomato puree.
  5. Take 4 tbsp of mustard oil.
  6. It’s 1/2 tsp of kalonji/ nigella seeds.
  7. Make ready 1/2 tsp of turmeric powder.
  8. Prepare 1/2 tsp of red chilli powder.
  9. It’s 4-5 of green and red chillies.
  10. You need 3 tbsp of Coriander leaves chopped.
  11. It’s To taste of salt.

  1. Marinate fish with little salt and turmeric. Meanwhile soak mustard with 1/4th cup warm water for half hour.Make a paste of it with pinch of salt, curd and 1 green chilli and set aside.Heat oil and fry the fish..
  2. Sprinkle kalonji.When they crackle,add the fried fish and toss.Add tomato puree.Also add turmeric,red chilli powder,salt to taste.Add 1 cup water and boil for 5 minutes.When the fish is nearly done,add the mustard paste and 2 tsp mustard oil.Mix and give it a boil for 2 minutes.Garnish with few green and red chillies and chopped coriander.Serve hot with rice in lunch or dinner..
