  2. It’s 3 of potatoes (peeled).
  3. You need 1 of belly pepper (green).
  4. Make ready 1 of carrot(cut into small cubes).
  5. It’s 1/2 of onion.
  6. Make ready 5 cloves of garlic (finely chopped).
  7. Make ready 1/2 tbs of salt.
  8. Make ready 60 gms of tomato paste.
  9. You need of Vegetable oil.

Melange definition: A melange of things is a mixture of them, especially when this is attractive or exciting.

Malenge step by step

  1. Wash and cut the pumpkin and the potatoes into cubes.First bring to boil the potatoes for 5 minutes and add the pumpkin in.Add the finely chopped garlic for more flavor.Bring to boil until tender.Drain excess water and let them cool.
  2. In a different pan,sauté the onion,bell pepper and carrots for 4 minutes..
  3. Once softened,add tomato paste and salt to taste.add 1/4 cup of cold water and Cook for about 2minutes..
  4. Add the boiled potatoes plus the pumpkin and mix all in and let it simmer for 5 minutes.
  5. Serve and enjoy.For young babies,blend the malenge until smooth and serve with milk or soup..
