Ingredients of Chinese Egg Chat

  5. You need 1/4 tbsp of Soy Sauce.
  6. Prepare 1/2 tbsp of Tomato Ketchup.
  7. Prepare 1 pinch of Red chilli powder.
  8. Make ready 1 pinch of Turmeric powder.

  11. It’s 1/4 cup of finely chopped cabbage.
  12. It’s 1/4 cup of grated carrot.
  13. You need 1/4 cup of finely chopped capsicum.

Chinese Egg Chat step by step

  1. Peel the boiled eggs, cut into halves and separate yellow parts..
  2. Take a pan, pour some oil, add pinch of turmeric and red chilli powder and place the egg whites to shallow fry them..
  3. Once it turns slightly golden in colour. Remove it from the pan..
  4. Now, in the same pan, pour some oil again (if required, about 1/2 tbsp), add chopped garlic till it becomes light brown..
  5. Now, add chopped onion and saute it for around 2 mins and then add all the chopped vegetables..
  6. Add soy sauce, vinegar and tomato ketchup and salt and saute it for 5 mins on medium to high flame. Make sure to toss it now and then..
  7. Once done switched off the gas and keep this mixture aside..
  8. Take a plate, place the fried eggs and fill it with the mixture. And it's ready to serve your kids with tomato ketchup or mint chutney..
