Ingredients of Changezi Paneer

  1. Take 300-400 gms of Paneer.
  2. It’s 3 of Tomatoes.
  3. It’s 2-3 of Medium Sized Onions or 6 Small Size Onions.
  4. You need 3 of Green Chillies.
  5. Take 1/2 Cup of Dahi.
  6. You need 1/4 Cup of Dahi.
  7. You need 2 Tablespoons of Ginger Garlic Paste.
  8. Prepare 3 Tablespoons of Besan.
  9. You need 1/4 Cup of Desi Ghee.
  10. Take 2-3 Tablespoon of Refined Oil.
  11. Prepare For of Khade Masale:.
  12. Make ready 2 of Dried Red Chillies.
  13. You need 4 of Choti Elaichi.
  14. It’s 4 of Laung.
  15. Make ready 2-3 of Sabut Kaali Mirch.
  16. Prepare 1 of Badi Elaichi.
  17. Prepare 1 of Tej Patta.
  18. Take For of Spices:.
  19. You need 1.5 Teaspoons of Haldi Powder.
  20. Make ready 1 Teaspoon of Chaat Masala.
  21. It’s 5 Teaspoons of Dhaniya Powder.
  22. Take 2 tbsp of Dhaniya Powder.
  23. Make ready 1.5 Teaspoon of Laal Mirch Powder.
  24. Take 3/4 Teaspoon of Roasted Jeera Powder.
  25. Make ready 1 Teaspoon of Kashmiri Laal Mirch Powder.
  26. Prepare 1 Teaspoon of Garam Masala.
  27. Prepare 1 Teaspoon of Roasted Kasuri Methi.

Changezi Paneer instructions

  1. Chop Onions very-very finely..
  2. Grind Tomatoes, Green Chillies finely into purée in a mixer grinder..
  3. Cut Paneer into cubes & keep them at room temperature for 30 minutes..
  4. Now take a bowl, add chopped paneer cubes in it with 1 Table Spoon Ginger Garlic Paste, 1 Teaspoon Haldi Powder, 1/2 Teaspoon Laal Mirch Powder, 1 Teaspoon Chaat Masala, 2 Table Spoon Oil, 1/4 Cup or 2 Table Spoon Dahi & 3 Table Spoon Besan in it & mix them properly but carefully so that paneer cubes doesn’t break..

  7. Now let the marination rest for 10-15 minutes..
  8. Meanwhile, take a kadhai, add 1/4 Cup Desi Ghee in it with 2 Table Spoon Oil & keep the gas on medium flame..
  9. When ghee gets heated up, add Khade Masale in it & let them sizzle..
  10. When they start sizzling, add finely chopped onions in it & roast them till they turn into golden brown in colour..
  11. After 2-3 minutes, when they are 60-80% cooked, add 1/2 Teaspoon Haldi Powder, 1 Table Spoon Ginger Garlic Paste in it & cook them for 1 minute..
  12. Now Lower the flame & add 1/2 Cup Dahi in it & start stirring it immediately so that it doesn’t get burned..
  13. After 2 minutes, add finely grinded tomato purée in it with 1 Teaspoon Salt so that they start releasing oil quickly..
  14. After 10-15 minutes, take a kadhai, add 2-3 Table Spoon Oil in it & keep the gas on medium flame..
  15. Now roast all paneer cubes one by one till they develop a crust on their surface & then take them out in a bowl..
  16. Now after 5-6 minutes, when oil is completely released, add 5 Teaspoon Dhaniya Powder, 1 Teaspoon Laal Mirch Powder, 2 Teaspoon Kashmiri Laal Mirch Powder in it & roast them for 2-3 minutes..
  17. Roast masalas well..
  18. After 2-3 minutes, add 1 Teaspoon Garam Masala, 1 Teaspoon, Roasted Kasuri Methi, 3/4 Teaspoon Roasted Jeera Powder, Roasted Paneer cubes with some water in it & mix them properly..
  19. Cook them for 2-3 minutes on medium flame..
  20. Your Changezi Paneer is ready to be served..
