Ingredients of South Indian Curd Rice

  1. It’s 2 Cup of cooked Rice(Left over rice is also done).
  2. Prepare 1 Cup of Normal Curd(take normal thick curd not too watery).
  3. Make ready To taste of Salt.
  4. It’s 1 tbsp of Mustard seeds.
  5. You need 1 tsp of Urad Dal.
  6. It’s 1 of green chilli chopped.
  7. Make ready 1 tsp of ginger grated.
  8. Prepare 2 tsp of Curry leaves.
  9. Prepare 1 of Dry Red chilli.
  10. Take as needed of oil.

South Indian Curd Rice step by step

  1. Take Cooked rice in a bowl and mix Curd and salt in it.
  2. Heat 1tbsp oil in a small tadka wok, add dry Red chilli and let it fry and then add mustard seeds and let it splutter.
  3. Next add Udad dal and let it be lil brown.
  4. Now add Curry leaves, chopped chilli, grated ginger and fry for some seconds.
  5. Pour the tadka into mixed curd rice and mix well..
  6. Refrigerate for 15-20 mins and serve cold..
