- Wash rice and soak in a water for 15 min. Drain and keep aside until needed..
- Heat ghee in a pressure cooker on low flame. Add bay leaf, cinnamon, cloves n saute. Add onion and saute until it turns light brown..
- Add chopped tomato, green peas, fresh beans n carrot.stir fry them 2 min..
- Add soaked rice, garam masala powder, turmeric powder, red chilli powder and salt. Stir fry them approx 2 min..
- Add water. Close the lid and cook over medium flame for 2 whistles. Turn off flame..
- Serving idea… Indian veg pulao is traditionally served with… Cucumber raita papad or pickle. We can serve with salted curd also..
