Whosayna’s Chocolate Mousse Cake step by step

  1. Make chocolate cake: Beat sugar and butter till fluffy.
  2. Add eggs and essence and beat more.
  3. Add flour, baking powder and cocoa mixture.
  4. Pour on greased spring foam tray.
  5. Bake in oven on 170 C till done.
  6. Sprinkle three tablespoon of dark expresso coffee on it.
  7. Let it cool down completely.
  8. Now make chocolate mousse: Beat eggs in a bowl with electric mixer till its fluffy, add sugar and beat more.
  9. In a pan pour a cup of whip cream and keep on boil until its hot.
  10. Pour egg mixture slowly in the hot whip cream and keep whisking while its on flame on low heat.
  11. Add grated chocolate and whisk till its thickened.
  12. Remove from flame let it cool down.
  13. Beat the remaining whip cream and essence, till peaks are formed now fold this in chocolate mixture very well.
  14. Pour on the cake and chill in fridge for three hours till mousse is set.
  15. Remove from fridge pour melted cooking chocolate on it.
  16. Decorate as you like.
  17. Then chill till serving.
