Ingredients of Dahi Mutter Paneer

  1. Take 250 g of Paneer.
  2. Make ready 50 g of Green Peas.
  3. You need 2 of medium sized onions.
  4. Make ready 5-6 cloves of Garlic.
  5. You need 1 inch of Ginger piece.
  6. Take 150 g of hung curd.
  7. It’s 1 teaspoon of Jeera powder.
  8. It’s 1 teaspoon of chilli powder.
  9. Make ready 1/2 teaspoon of pepper powder.
  10. Prepare 1 teaspoon of kasuri methi powder.
  11. Prepare 1 teaspoon of garam masala powder.
  12. It’s As needed of oil.
  13. Prepare To taste of Salt and sugar.
  14. It’s 1 cup of Milk.

Dahi Mutter Paneer instructions

  1. Cut the paneer into cubes and immerse it in a bowl of milk with little sugar added. Keep it aside for 30 mins.
  2. Blanch the green peas in hot water and keep aside.
  3. Heat some oil in a pan and add 1 onion pasted, ginger paste and all the powder masalas(except garam masala) and saute till it is cooked. Mix this with the hung curd.
  4. Add some more oil and add chopped onions and garlic into it and saute it till it's golden brown.
  5. Add the blanched peas into it and mix well. Add the masala prepared in step 3 into this and let it cook for some time.
  6. Once the masala starts leaving oil add 1/2 cup of water and salt and bring to boil. Then add the milk and paneer mix into it and let it cook for 5-10 mins.
  7. Add the garam masala and 1 teaspoon ghee before removing. Serve with parathas or rice.
