Stuffed suji balls step by step

  1. Dry roast the suji..
  2. Heat oil in a pan add finely chopped green chilli and ginger saute for one mins.
  3. Add water and bring to boil,once boiled add the roasted suji and salt and stir continuously until water absorb the suji..
  4. Again heat oil in a pan,add carrot and capsicum and saute for one mins..
  5. Add turmeric powder,red chilli powder and mix well..
  6. Now add boiled and mashed potato and salt and mix well.
  7. Now stuffing is ready..
  8. Take a suji dough and make a ball..
  9. Fill one tbsp potato stuffing into the ball and steam for ten mins.
  10. Heat oil in a pan..
  11. Add chana dal, urad dal,whole red chilli and curry leaves and saute for one to two mins..
  12. Add turmeric powder,red chilli powder and salt and mix well.
  13. Now add stuffed suji balls and mix well..
  14. Squeeze the lemon juice and mix well..
  15. Serve hot with green chutney and tomato ketchup.
