  1. Wash and remove sticks from chaps and cut them in equal size pieces of approximately 1".
  2. Purée onions and tomatoes.
  3. In a pan heat 2 tbsp oil and shallow fry chaap lightly and transfer them to a bowl.
  4. In same pan add cumin seeds. When splutter add onion paste and stir fry until raw aroma goes off. Then add ginger garlic paste and cook for a minute. Now add dry spices and mix. After a minute add tomato puree and cook until masala is cooked and oil is separated. Stir occasionally in-between. Sprinkle little water if needed..
  5. Now add chaps stir for 2 to 3 minutes. Add water to required consistency. Mix, cover with lid and cook until chaps are properly cooked. Now add 2 tbsp fresh cream or beaten malai and mix well. Add garam masala powder and chopped coriander leaves.
  6. Garnish with coriander leaves and cream and serve hot with roti, naan or any other bread..
