Ingredients of Mac & Beef

  1. Prepare 1 lb of ground beef.
  2. You need 1 medium of onion diced.
  3. You need 2 clove of of garlic minced.
  4. Make ready 1 tbsp of dried oregano.
  5. You need 1 tbsp of chopped fresh basil.
  6. You need 2 tbsp of extra virgin olive oil.
  7. It’s 1 can of crushed tomatoes 28 oz.
  8. It’s 1 can of diced tomatoes 14.5 oz.
  9. It’s 1 of salt & pepper to taste.
  10. Prepare 2 tbsp of chopped fresh parsley.
  11. It’s 1 lb of box of elbow macaroni.

Mac & Beef instructions

  1. In a 4 quart pot cook ground beef till brown, then drain and add back to the pot.
  2. Add olive oil and onion. Season with salt and pepper. Cook until soft and translucent.
  3. Add garlic and oregano cook for 1 to 2 min.
  4. Add the can of diced tomatoes and crushed tomatoes.
  5. Cook elbow macaroni in salted boiling water until al dente. Drain and add to the sauce. Cook for 1 to 2 min. Then add fresh chopped basil and parsley.
  6. Garnish with grated parmesan cheese and a drizzle of olive oil. Enjoy.
