Kolak Recipe. How to set it up? What are the ingredients? Cooking tips and more… This is one of my favourite food recipe, this time i will make it a little bit tasty.

Kolak singkong pisang tanduk menu buka puasa yang segar. Kolak (or kolek) is an Indonesian dessert based on palm sugar or coconut sugar, coconut milk, and pandanus leaf (P. amaryllifolius).

Here is the best “Kolak” recipe we have found so far. This will be really delicious.

Ingredients of Kolak

  1. You need 500 g of yellow cassava.
  2. Make ready 500 g of fermented cassava (tape).
  3. It’s 350 g of pumpkin (labu kuning).
  4. Take 100 g of palm sugar.
  5. You need 4 pcs of musa belle banana (pisang raja).
  6. Take 4-5 of pandan leaves.
  7. Make ready of Salt & sugar.
  8. Prepare 1 1/2 L of coconut milk (santan).
  9. Prepare 1 1/2 L of Water.

Kolak instructions

  1. Add water to the coconut milk and bring to boil..
  2. Cut the yellow cassava and steam..
  3. Cut fermented cassava with the same size as the yellow cassava..
  4. Cut the bananas to the same size as the cassava.
  5. Cut the pumpkin to the same size as the bananas.
  6. Boil all the ingredients into the coconut milk soup starting with the hardest to the softest texture (yellow pumpkin - steamed cassava - banana - fermented cassava).
  7. Put pandan leaves into the soup and season it..
  8. Best served while it's warm (but i like to serve it cold).
  9. Tips: to save the time, make the coconut milk the day before, and put in fridge..

This version of kolak I make very similar to bubur.Kolak or Kolek is an Indonesian dessert made with palm sugar and coconut milk, with pandanus leaf (P. amaryllifolius) for flavour.Kolak is rather heavy and is usually eaten after the mid-day nap.
