  15. Take 1 Can of Green Beans [drained].
  16. Prepare 1.5 Cups of Fresh Mushrooms [sliced].
  17. You need 10 of Baby Russet Potatoes [left whole].
  18. Take 8 of Medium Idaho Potatoes [halved].
  19. Prepare 1 of Medium Green Bell Pepper [1" cubed].
  20. Make ready 10 Cloves of Whole Garlic Cloves [chopped].
  21. It’s of ● For The Meats.
  22. Prepare 4 lbs of Beef Stew Chuck [1" chop + Worshestershire Sauce].
  23. Take 1/2 Packet of McCormick Beef Stew Seasoning [+ 3 tbsp flour].
  24. Make ready 2 lbs of Pork Shoulder [boiled and shreadded].
  25. Prepare 1 tbsp of Kitchen Bouquet.
  26. It’s of ● For The Thickener.
  27. It’s 2 tbsp of Corn Starch [more if needed.
  28. Make ready 2 tbsp of Water.
  29. It’s of ● For The Finish.
  30. Take 4 tbsp of Dehydrated Onions.
  31. You need 1 tsp of Granulated Garlic.
  32. Prepare 1 tsp of Granulated Onion.
  33. You need 1 of Good Dash Au Jus Extract.

Mike's Stone Soup step by step

  1. Usually I provide all of the ingredients for my students classes but today, each student brought their own individual ingredient in honor of the fairy tale of Stone Soup. They made 6 massive batches of this soup/stew. Anyway, here's your easy basic broth. ;0).
  2. Chop all vegetables and add to pot with broth..
  3. Chop your beef into small cubes..
  4. Season beef in a Zip lock Bag..
  5. Place beef in heated pan and sear meat with flour and 1/2 packet of beef stew seasoning..
  6. Fry until seared..
  7. Boil raw pork meat until fully cooked and fork shread..
  8. Add all meat to pot. Allow to simmer for 3 hours. Gently stir from bottom as to not break up potatoes..
  9. Warm bread pictured..
  10. Serve hot with fresh bread. Enjoy!.
