Ingredients of Smothered Cube Steaks
- You need 1 packages of beef cubed steak.
- It’s 1 each of black pepper, garlic powder, lawrys season salt (or ur choice of seasonings).
- Prepare 1 1/2 cup of flour.
- Take 1/2 large of onion(sliced thin).
- You need 1 cup of oil.
- You need 2 can of cream of mushroom soup.
- It’s 3/4 cup of milk.
Smothered Cube Steaks step by step
- heat oil in a medium size pan on medium heat.
- season steaks then dredge them in flour.
- once oil is heated add steaks to oil and cook until well done about 5 mins on each side.
- when steaks are done remove from pan and let drain on paper towels.
- pour oil out leaving about 1/8 cup of oil and the pan dripping in the pan.
- add onions to the pan and cook until translucent.
- add soup and milk, stirring bring to a boil let cook for 5 mins.
- add steaks back to pan covering them in soup mixture.
- reduce heat to really low cover and simmer for 15 mins.
- when done add salt and pepper on top for taste then enjoy! I serve these over white rice!.
