Ingredients of Japchae

  1. Prepare 90 g of baby spinach leaves.
  2. Take 60 ml (1/4 cup) of soy sauce.
  3. You need 1 tbsp of caster sugar.
  4. You need 60 ml (1/4 cup) of sesame oil, plus extra, to drizzle.
  5. You need 1 of garlic clove, crushed.
  6. Make ready 1 of egg, lightly beaten.
  7. Prepare 240 g of sweet potato vermicelli (dangmyeon) (see Note) or mung bean vermicelli.
  8. Prepare 80 g of (about 4) fresh shiitake mushrooms, thinly sliced.

  11. Prepare 1/2 cup of garlic chives (see Note), cut into 5 cm lengths.
