- First step to always cooking couscous the right way is to always make sure one measures the couscous in a bowl.. Then mark the quantity of couscous one has and in turn measure water in the bowl up the same quantity as the couscous….
- Get a pot.. Pour your water into the pot and bring the water to a boil… When the water boils add some butter/margerine into doing water.. Turn off the fire…
- Get your couscous and pour it into the pot of boiled water… Make sure u pour your couscous in a circular motion into the water so it's evenly spread in the pot..
- Cover the pot and leave to steam for about 5 mins.. After 5 mins.. Open your pot and gently stir your couscous..
- Wash and thinly dice your vegetables.. Get your sauce pan… Turn your flame on medium heat.. Add your melted butter/magerine,add onions and fry till translucent…
- Add your red ball pepper and garlic. Fry for few seconds… Add your turmeric, curry, thyme, salt, seasoning…add your sausage, diced carrots and green beans….. Stir all vegetables properly together…
- Get your couscous and mix into the vegetables.. Gently stir to ensure it gets properly mixed.
- Turn on flame to low heat..stir fry the couscous..
- Enjoy your meal…. Feel free to play with your vegetables… U can add brocolli, different colours ball pepper, sweetcorn, etc…..u can also add shredded chicken/beef to the couscous…
