Ingredients of Dal Murgh
- Take 500 gms of Chicken.
- It’s 1 Cup of Chana Dal.
- You need 1 of Onion Chopped.
- Prepare 2 Tbsp of Ginger Garlic Paste.
- Prepare 2 Tbsp of Red Chilli Powder.
- Prepare 1 Tbsp of Turmeric Powder.
- Make ready 1 Tbsp of Cumin Powder.
- You need 1 Tbsp of Coriander Powder.
- You need 1/2 Tbsp of Garam Masala Powder.
- Make ready 1 of Bay Leaf.
- You need 1-2 of Green Chilli Chopped.
- It’s 1/2 Tsp of Cumin Seeds.
- Make ready 1 Tsp of Kasuri Methi.
- Prepare 1 Tbsp of Ghee.
- Prepare To taste of Salt.
- You need 6/7 of Chopped Coriander Leaves.
Dal Murgh instructions
- Wash and Soak the dal for about one hour..
- Take a pressure cooker boil the dal, chicken along with salt, turmeric powder and 3 cups of water. Cook it till 3 whistles..
- Take a pan heat ghee. Add bay leaf, cumin seeds, kasuri methi and green chillies to it. Add onions and fry it till golden brown. Add ginger garlic paste and fry it for sometime..
- Add red chilli powder, cumin powder, coriander powder and salt to it. Fry till the masala separates oil from it..
- Add dal and chicken mixture to it. And let it boil for sometime. Add garam masala to it. Let it cook for 10 mins..
- Garnish with few coriander leaves..
