Ingredients of Chicken Shawarma

  2. It’s 3 1/2 cups of flour.
  3. You need 1/3 cup of oil.
  4. It’s 1 1/2 tbspn of yeast.
  5. It’s 1 tbspn of sugar.
  6. You need 1 of tspn salt.
  7. Prepare 1 1/2 cup of warm water.
  8. Take of for the fillings.
  9. Make ready 5 tbspn of Mayonnaise.
  10. Take 3 tbspn of ketchup.
  11. It’s 1/2 tbsp of Vinegar.
  12. Take 1 of tspn black pepper optional.
  13. It’s 1/2 of small sliced cabbage.
  14. It’s 1 of big cucumber slized.
  15. You need 1 of big Onions.
  16. Prepare of Shredded chicken.
  17. It’s of Veg oil.
  18. Prepare of Powdered milk optional.
  19. Prepare 1 of tspn garlic and ginger paste.
  20. It’s 1/2 of tspn Curry and tyme.
  21. Take of Knorr chicken and maggi star.
  22. Make ready 5 of scotch bonnet grinded.
  23. Make ready 1 of Green pepper diced.
  24. Prepare 4 pcs of shredded carrot.

Chicken Shawarma instructions

  1. Get all your ingredients ready..
  2. For shawarma bread.
  3. In a big clean bowl, measure in your flour,yeast,salt, oil,sugar, give it a good mix, add in the warm water bit by bit to form a dough..
  4. Allow the dough to rise until double in size..
  5. Cut the dough into equal size, on a working surface dust some flour, carry one of the dough and roll it out using rolling pin, keep on repeating the same process with the remaining dough until you finish all. U can use anything round plate to cut it for you to get equal size.
  6. Heat your pan over low heat, place the flat dough cook it over a low heat for at least 2-3mins each side. Do same with the remaining flat dough. Your kitchen towel to be covering it so that it won't get dry..

  8. Our shawarma bread is ready to use..
  9. For the fillings. In a pan heat some oil, onions, scotch bonnet, garlic and ginger paste slitely fry it for few mins, add in the shredded chicken and let it cook over medium heat. Add in curry, thyme and all your seasonings stir it and allow it to cook for few mins, lastly add in the green pepper..
  10. In another bowl add in mayyonise, ketchup,powdered milk optional,pinch of salt,vinegar,sugar, black pepper optional and give it a good mixture..
  11. Assembly all your ingredients.
  12. Take one of the shawarma bread. Spread some of the mayonnaise mixture on it as shown👇.
  13. Add the sliced cabbage.
  14. Follow by adding cucumber,shredded carrot and some onion optional..
  15. Add in the the chicken..
  16. Then carefully fold it as if you're folding mat to avoid the fillings from pouring..
  17. Done. Ready to bake😃, grill roast anyone🤗.
  18. Microwave it or bake it in an oven or use shawarma toaster, or pan. For me I used pan. Heat the pan on fire, put in the shawarma Cover it and cook each side for about 2mins..
  19. Flip the other side over low heat..
