- Take 1 cup of wheat flour.
- It’s 150 gram of clarified butter.
- Make ready 1/2 cup of lukewarm water.

- Take 1 cup of mix pulses(tuver,moong,chana).
- Take 3/4 spoon of salt.
- You need 1/4 spoon of turmeric powder.

- Take 1 pinch of cumin seeds.

- It’s 1/4 spoon of red chilli powder.
- Prepare 1/2 spoon of garam masala.

- Take 3/4 cup of lukewarm water.
Dal Bati Churma is a traditional Rajasthani treat.The spicy dal with the sweet churma along with deep fried crunchy batis, its such a treat.Few weeks when I was googling saw a dal bati churma picture.Dal baati is an Indian dish of dal (lentils) and baati (hard wheat rolls).
Dal bati churma instructions
- For churma mix wheat flour,5 spoon clarified butter and lukewarm water in a bowl and knead a hard dough.
- Divide the dough into small portions and press between palms.
- Deep fry in hot clarified butter and let it cool.
- Grind into a fine powder and mix powdered sugar in it.
- For dal soak all pulses for 1/2 hour.
- Put it in a cooker with 2 cup water,salt,turmeric powder,clove and cardamom..
- Close the lid and cook for 3 whistles.
- Open the cooker and mash dal with a wooden masher.
- Heat clarified butter in a wok and add cumin seeds,dry red chilli and green chilli.
- Add onion and ginger garlic paste and saute for 5 minutes.
- Add boiled dal and other spices and mix well.
- Boil for 5 minutes and switch off the flame.
- For baati add all ingredients in a bowl and knead a hard dough.
- Make small balls from the dough and smear clarified butter.
- Put on the baking tray and bake for 25 minutes on 180°.
- Take out baati from the oven and dip into melted clarified butter.
