  11. Take 3-4 of gondhoraj leaves.
  12. Take of Sprinkle of coriander leaves.
  13. Prepare 1 tbsp of gondhoraj lime juice.

Lentil soup with gondhoraj / ডাল গন্ধরাজ সুপ- recipe instructions

  1. Heat oil add crushed garlic and cinnamon stick.
  2. Add chunks of onions and saute well.
  3. Add the pumpkin cubes and chopped tomatoes.
  4. Add salt to soften them and add soaked dal, which was soaked for 15min.
  5. Suate them till dal is scented.
  6. Add 3 cups water.. the ratio of dal and water will be 3:1.
  7. Hence, 3cup water 1 cup dal.
  8. Give it a boil and then simmer, seasoning should be added as per your choices.
  9. Add coriander stems and leaves, add gondhoraj leaves and cook for 2 min.
  10. Turn off the gas oven add gondhoraj lime juice then cool down the soup.
  11. Grind well,strain it and serve with burnt tomato slices,bread..
