- It’s 1 large of Onion.
- Make ready 3 can of Tomato paste.
- Prepare 2 lb of Favorite sausage (I like andouille).
- You need 3 cup of White long grain rice.
- Make ready 3 cup of Water.
- It’s 1 of Salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
- Take 1 of Handful of parsley or so.
- Prepare 1 stick of Celery.
Angie's Red Jambalaya instructions
- Preheat oven to 350.
- Slice sausage and onions.
- In a Dutch oven add all ingredients, mix well so that the tomato paste is well blended, and cover.
- Bake until rice in tender I check after the first 45 minutes, stir and place back in oven.
- Some times you need to add another 1/2 cup of water but not always.
- If your rice ever comes out too mushy when baking jambalaya try uncovering it for a little while.
