In a medium sized bowl, whisk together the two dry ingredients. Do this until the mixture is well mixed. Be careful not to inhale any of the borax, that stuff is pretty potent!.
Now for the hardest, and most annoying part. Shred the bar if soap. You can do this by simply using your cheese grater or by cutting the soap into small chunks and putting through a food processor. If you are using a food processor, make sure to rinse it out well. You don't want any soap in any of your food..
After the soap is finally shredded, add it to the dry mixture and mix just until incorporated well enough..
