Ingredients of Chicken Satay

  1. Make ready 750 of gm. skinless, bone less chicken breasts cut into 2 cm pieces.
  2. Prepare 2 tbsp of Cooking oil, Corn flour1 tsp.
  3. Prepare 2 tbsp of brown sugar, Juice of 1 lemon.
  4. Make ready 3 of garlic cloves crushed. Soya Sauce2 tbsp.
  5. Take 12 of bamboo Skewers.
  6. Take of For Satay sauce.
  7. Prepare 200 gms of Peanut butter.
  8. Prepare 1 of " Ginger grated.
  9. It’s of Juice of 1 lemon.
  10. Make ready 1 cup of Fresh thickCoconut milk.
  11. Prepare 1 tbsp of Soya sauce.
  12. Make ready of Crushed Garlic cloves 2.
  13. Make ready 1 tsp of Sugar.
  14. It’s of Salt, black pepper and chilli flakes 1/2 tsp each.
  15. Take of Coriander to garnish.

Chicken Satay instructions

  1. Make the marinade by combining soya sauce,lemon juice, 1 tsp oil, a big pinch of salt, sugar,garlic,corn flour and spring onion..
  2. Toss the chicken with the marinade.
  3. Cover and leave to marinate in the fridge for 2 hours..
  4. Make the Satay sauce. Heat peanut butter with garlic. Add 1 cup water, thick coconut milk,soya sauce,ginger and sugar..
  5. Cook for 2 min until the sauce becomes smooth..
  6. Add lemon juice and season to taste with salt and black pepper..
  7. Keep warm..
  8. Soak the skewers in warm water for 10 min. Thread the marinated chicken pieces on to the skewers..
  9. Grill over a slow flame till the chicken pieces are almost cooked and brown on all around. It takes 5 min..
  10. Transfer chicken pieces on a bed of spring onions and serve them at once..
  11. Garnish the sauce with peanuts and chicken with coriander leaves..
