Ingredients of Pinwheel Puris
- Make ready 150 gm of maida / all-purpose flour.
- Make ready 150 gm of besan/gram flour.
- Prepare 8 tsp of Oil.
- Take to taste of Salt.
- Make ready 1 tsp of Pepper powder.
- Prepare 1/2 tsp of Carom seeds.
- Prepare 1/4 tsp of Asafoetida or hing.
- It’s as needed of Oil for applying and frying.
- Prepare as needed of Rice flour.
Pinwheel Puris step by step
- In maida add salt, hing oil 6 tsp, pepper powder and knead a medium stiff dough.
- To besan add salt, ajwain, oil 2 tsp and knead a medium stiff dough.
- Make portions and roll out 2 maida rotla and 2 besan rotlo using rice flour if needed.
- Aplly oil on 1 maida rotlo and sprinkle rice flour. Place besan rotlo, apply oil, sprinkle rice flour.
- In this way make a pile of 4 rotlas, roll slightly again to level them evenly.
- Roll tighty and cut into portions.
- Press each and roll slightly to make puris.
- Deep fry crispy and enjoy with family this DIWALI.
