  3. Take 1/2 tsp of Baking Soda.

  6. You need 1 tsp of Split Black Gram without the outer cover.
  7. It’s 1 tbsp of Rice (uncooked).

  3. Drain the soaked Split Black Gram and blitz it along with the dry roasted ingredients, pepper corns, salt, and baking soda..
  4. It should be a fine thick paste. Add very little water if it's difficult to blitz..
  5. Heat oil in a vessel (to deep fry) and add small amounts of the dough paste in the vessel through a spoon. Take it out when the color turns to the picture above..
  6. You can have this with any sauce, but the authentic sauce for this is a Coconut Chutney..
